Earthquake of magnitude 7.2 off Vanuatu
An earthquake of magnitude 7.2 has struck near Vanuatu, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre says.
The quake was at a depth of 528km, EMSC said.
No tsunami warning was issued in the region, which lies some 1750km east of northern Australia, according to the US Tsunami Warning System.
