Farrell cleared to face Wallabies

Owen Farrell, the England captain, has been cleared to face the Wallabies at Twickenham on Saturday, 13 November.

He has previously been in danger of missing the case after testing positive for COVID-19.

But he will now rejoin the squad after a review of the sample revealed that he does not have the virus with UK medical authorities on Sunday morning giving the green light to leave quarantine.

The fly-half was ruled out of the 69-3 rout of Tonga in the Autumn Nations Series opener on Saturday after being forced to self-isolate because of the result of a PCR test taken on Thursday.
