Hobart bat first against Stars in BBL

The Hobart Hurricanes have won the toss and opted to bat first against the Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League at Bellerive Oval.

The Stars are without legspinner Adam Zampa, who is being rested, while Joe Burns is playing his first match for the tournament at the expense of Nick Larkin.

Hobart have won just one match from four and have recalled Peter Handscomb to replace Caleb Jewell.

Melbourne have won two from four games and sit one spot above the second-last Hurricanes on the ladder.
